Anyone been able to get Money 2005 to run? Was defective when sold, and required an immediate patch, however in Vista the notification of the patch says it requires Administrator priviledges but will not acknowledge that I have those priviledges. Anyone worked this out?

Money2005
Same problem here. Strange that most of my Microsoft software won't install on Vista. Warnings about the system may not start if it is installed (Encarta) Works Suite and Money won't install or won't work. The newest version of Works did install.

Its a known issue, also affected by Money 2006, I guess you have to wait until the Money Team releases a fix or the next release. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Of course you can also turn off the UAC (User Account Control) in the Users Control Panel. When done just turn it back on.

I run Money 2006 and have only one minor problem. The main window will automatically switch back and forth between either another open application or the desktop. This happens without warning and can happen with a frequecy of a few seconds. You/I can be working on a money reconcilliation and the screen will disappear and the desktop or any other propgrams page will open. Other that this all of the background banking works, logging on always works and backups go smoothly. Any ideas about the switching of the pages would be helpful.
